Direct lines in krita

I'1000 trying to make some tiling textures using krita considering it has an awesome wrap mode. Does anyone know a way to get straight lines using the standard brush tool? Something similar property shift to draw a straight line to the last point in photoshop. At that place'southward gotta be an like shooting fish in a barrel way to exercise this...

  Thanks for the reply. I tried to the five thing key merely was really hoping for something exactly using the shift key in photoshop. Hopefully it can be added in a future update.

  Y'all need to use a dissimilar tool. If yous employ the Line tool (it's right adjacent to the Freehand Brush tool on the toolbar), it draws lines using the Brush Preset that is selected, with dynamics and all, as if you were drawing past hand.

  Thanks for the respond. Assistant tool looks like it could come in handy sometime but for the concurrently I recall i'll stick to photoshop for precise line work and paste into krita to fix upward tiling.

  But Krita doesn't have the Clipping Mask feature (it uses something else to practice this, called alpha-inheriting), so if you happen to employ clip-masked layers in the PSD they will be loaded equally normal layers and will "bleed" off the layer that was clipping them (as if yous turned the prune-masking off in Photoshop).
